I thought I had gotten out the door a little late, but we were just in time. I almost got seen by my basketball friends. I saw a purple Ravens shirt; Yep! That was Sam! When I got in they were praying the Rosary; So I went in the sacristy. The pastor was signing checks.
The pastor: Good morning Xavier!
Me: Hello ( I got ready and when I came back)
The pastor (to me): Right after mass, Fr. Joe (who was the celebrant. The pastor was just there from the 7:00) will be heading for the airport to board a plane to Rome
Me: I know. He told me.(Miss Paula was in the room so she told the pastor stuff I wasn't supposed to know about, after that she left; Mr. Tim was waiting to talk to the pastor)
The pastor: Good morning Tim!
Mr. Tim: (Nods to the pastor and turns to me) Xavier, are you going to light the candles?
The pastor: I thought you were going to do it.
Mr. Tim: O.K.
The pastor (after Mr. Tim leaves): So are you doing anything for Valentines day Xavier?
Me:Our home school group is going to a moon bounce arena.
Fr. Joe (coming in): Good morning all.
The pastor: Do you know anything about St.Valentine Xavier?
Me: Yes! We have a story book about him. It's a story about how he saved a girl from blindness
The pastor: That is the most famous story of him. That picture in the sanctuary is a painting of him presiding a wedding.
Me: Huh! I never knew that.
Later after exposition
Paul: Need any help?
Me: No I don't think so (but I handed him the lavabo dish.)
So we put every thing back and went home. Stay tuned
