Halloween night.

Last night we went Trick-or-treating with our friend Terry. I was Matt Wieters (O's catcher), Paul was Mike Miller (Miami Heat guard), and Terry was a ninja. Here are some pictures

Paul's jersey is home made. Mine is was a free gift from an O's game

So we started by going down to our dad's old friends' house as we do every year. We didn't do very well (thanks a lot hurricane Sandy!) on our block. But I think the best street we went on was the street behind our house. There was this one house where we waited and then a 14 year old kid answered the door with a bag of Twix. He tried to open it but it didn't open. So he said he would go get his mom. But he couldn't find his mom. And then in the end, he used scissors. Then we continued on. We got back to our street and Paul said "Why don't we stop at our own houses." We stopped at Terry's. It worked but when we got to our house, Mom said "come on in." And that's  how it ended.

The Relic display.

Last night, Paul, Dad and I went to this relic display at another church. There were 168 relics. A lot of people were bringing these holy objects, such as rosaries or scapulars, to make into third class relics. But the weird thing was people were bringing pictures to the relics! That was weird. There was one cool thing, I was venerating one of the relics and this other lady was standing next to me was venerating the relic of St. Catherine of Sienna, I said to her "The old associate pastor at my parish loved St. Catherine of Sienna," and she said "St. Catherine of Sienna's feast day is on my birthday." Oh no. Not a happy cat at 12:00.
And it almost hit the house. Check it out!

Ugh! That doesn't look to good.

Long awaited update

Hello everybody. Sorry I've not been posting lately, to busy. Well enough chit-chat let's get down to business here. From May 5th -the last day I posted- I have been altar serving a lot as you can guess, playing Baseball (my team is 1-5), being bat/ballboy for Paul's Baseball teams, going to Orioles games, I will be playing as a sailor in the musical Oh, Jonah! Paul will be the captain and I will post about that. While we are on the subject of homeschooling, our co-op had their annual Dad's day, when the dads come over and we do some cool stuff! Also my uncle turned eighty a couple days ago and we went to his party after Paul's game. The Miami Heat have been pummeling the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs, the final game is tonight on ESPN. Oh, I have also been writing a book, called The Prophecy of Flanagan. It's about a seventeen-year-old named Jack Finnegan who realizes that he's a reborn of the great Orioles pitcher Mike Flanagan! And today just as we were starting school we realized Leah had been toutring a bird! Mom didn't want to watched, same here but Paul just watched. Then the chase moved to the front yard, the bird was hiding in Dad's garden, but Leah found him and we thought the bird was dead, and Paul just lost it. He started getting upset! And then he called Dad at work, and asked what he would do. Dad gave him instructions and went outside, and then I heard "YAY! YAY! YAY!" The bird had lived =)! Paul walked back to Leah put her in her crate and I set my watch for 2 hours. Now as I am writing this, Leah has, 1hour 23 minutes and 9 seconds to get out. Stay tuned, your pal

Take our children to work day

So first we went to mass (which I will post about soon), had breakfast and then Dad took Paul and me to where he worked, which wasn't very far. When we got there, I put on my building pass that looks like this:

Paul didn't want me to take a pic of his.  When we got there we met Dad's buddys and joined them in their "morning routine", which is when they go downstairs and get ice. Then we go upstairs to my dad's friend's office where he has a water jug (FYI they fill the ice to the brim) and then; THE WATER'S ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! Then  they just see what's on the agenda for that day, and then start talking trash. Then everybody had to leave so it was just moi, Paul and Dad. We got bored, and Dad showed us the flying pig. It was a present from dad to his buddy. Dad turned it on and it started flying. It was just a toy and it was suspended from the ceiling. Then we went to do some work, which was just loading equipment. First we had to load computers and then we faced the most evil computer monitor in the world! It didn't want to go back in it's box, but we suceeded! Then dad introduced us to some of his friends, Dad introduced us to friend, Miss Laura. And she had a desk full of Beanie Babies for any children the stoped by. By the look that was on Dad's face, he was saying in his head O.K Paul and Xav aren't getting any Beanie Babies. then I said "I'll take the blue jay. Paul said he'd take the whale. I know. I know. We're to old, but we just took them to be polite. Here's a pic of my blue jay. I named him Jose, after Toronto Blue jays right-fielder, Jose Bautista.

Paul wanted me to name him J.J after J.J Hardy, Fuhgetabutit . I suppose that's it.

My Mom had taken more pictures but she didn't let me put the rest of these pictures in. I don't know why =(.
