State House fieldtrip

Today our homeschool group went to the State House in Annapolis. You guessed it. Here are some pics.


In the House of Delegates.






Tallest wooden dome in the United States. No nails
 (too expensive) – just wooden pegs.  There’s a stairway
between this dome and the exterior dome just outside it.

 and then he became the first African
 American Supreme Court justice.
